The Annual Gaybutante Celebration
Please join us for our annual Gaybutante celebration on Saturday, Oct. 9, 2010, at the Sheraton Denver Downtown Hotel. What makes this year's Gaybutante even more special is that it is being held in conjunction with the first SAGE of the Rockies conference on aging Oct. 8-10 at the Sheraton. Gaybutante honors the strength and courage of Denver youth who have embraced their GLBT identity. Modeled after the debutante tradition, Gaybutantes tell their compelling and inspiring coming out stories in front of a welcoming community of friends and supportive, safe adults. This year, participants in the SAGE conference will also share their coming out stories to make the event even more powerful.

We will also honor adults and other youth agencies that have made a positive impact in the GLBT youth community this year. The Gaybutante celebration is always one of our most meaningful events, and undoubtedly one of the most important in the Denver GLBT community.
Thank you to everyone who attended and donated for your support of Gaybutante 2009. Through your generosity we raised more than $15,000 to support LGBT youth and programs at Rainbow Alley.
