Parade Assistant Coordinator
This position begins in February and is responsible for organizing participation in the veteran’s contingent, coordinating the Grand Marshal travel if necessary and logistics, organizing all The Center’s different programs and their participation, as well as organizing and managing the creation of The Center’s float. This position is responsible for attending PrideFest production meetings leading up to the festival and is expected to be on site during the festival, specifically at 6am on Sunday morning in Cheeseman Park for parade coordination. Must have event experience.

Dyke March
This position begins in February and is responsible for organizing the Dyke March rally, motorcycle contingent and march. This position works closely with the Production Manager. This position is responsible for attending PrideFest production meetings leading up to the festival and is expected to be on site during the festival, specifically on Saturday for the Dyke March. Must have event experience.

Main Stage
This position begins in February and is responsible for selecting and organizing Main Stage talent to perform during PrideFest weekend. Interested parties must have experience in stage management, talent booking, and event experience. This position is responsible for attending PrideFest production meetings leading up to the festival and is expected to be on site during the entire festival.

Quadrant Operations Volunteer(s)
Quadrant Operations work with Quadrant Coordinator to load-in, build, maintain, or take-down infrastructure for assigned quadrant Pride weekend. Assist with overall operations as-needed. Must be able to assist with hanging banners, carrying heavy materials, and must be able to be on feet for extended periods of time. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, walk on various terrains and climb stairs.

Park Rangers
Park Rangers assist Denver PD, Guardian Angels, traffic control, and guests as needed. They monitor guests at the festival and report any problems or potential problems to Denver PD, Guardian Angels, or First Aid. They do not intervene in problematic situations, but instead monitor and report to Denver PD, Guardian Angels, or First Aid. Rangers monitor any “canvassing” operations in the park and make sure they have proper credentials. They assist guests with concerns as needed. Rangers must be able to walk throughout the festival during their shift.

Traffic Control
Traffic Control works throughout the day, particularly in the morning and evening, to ensure that all vehicle traffic is moving in an approved and appropriate manner. They monitor all barricaded intersections and direct traffic as appropriate. Volunteers must be able to remain on their feet and mobile during their 4 hour shift. Volunteers must feel comfortable being politely assertive with inappropriate vehicle traffic.

Family Field Day Volunteer
Family Field Day Volunteers help set-up activities, register participants, lead games/activities, and assist the Family Field Day Coordinator as necessary. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, walk on various terrains and climb stairs.

Entertainment/Interactive Area Volunteer
These volunteers will help with set-up and take-down and will assist with activities and crowd management in entertainment areas including the Parade, Family Interactive, Dance Stage, Main Stage, VIP, and The Center information tent. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, walk on various terrains and climb stairs.

Volunteer Headquarters
These volunteer assist with all volunteer needs. The needs may include, but are not limited to, check-in, handing out t-shirts, food set-up and communication.

Volunteer Guides
Volunteer guides are responsible for guiding volunteers to their designated Volunteer Captain. Must be able to walk and/or stand for up to 4 hours.

Denver Dyke March (report to Charlies)
Denver Dyke March Volunteers at Charlies set up tables and chairs. Help guide the women from inside the bar to outside in march formation after the rally. Some will walk alongside the marchers as they travel down Colfax, others will stay to clean up tables and chairs at Charlies after the marchers have departed. Must be able to walk to and from Charlies and Civic Center Park. Meet at Charlies at 2pm.

Denver Dyke March (report to Civic park)
Denver Dyke March Volunteers at Civic Center Park help guide the marchers into Civic Center Park. Must be able to walk and/or stand for up to 4 hours and be able to yell and cheer loudly! Meet at 3:30pm in Civic Center Park
