The Terry Mangan Memorial Library is open to the public Monday and Thursday from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Terry Mangan was one of Colorado's first gay activists and archivists. He a founder of the Gay Liberation Front and was the first coordinator of the Gay Coalition, a group founded in 1973 to combat Police department harassment of gays and lesbians. He is the author of Colorado on Glass. After his death in 1976, the library of the Gay Coalition and other books from his estate were donated to The Center in his memory to start our present library.
