Support the Work of The Center
Thank you for your support of The Center! Your generous contributions allow us to serve more than 25,000 people every year through social, support, events and community programming.
In 2009 alone, Rainbow Alley, our youth drop-in center, saw 6,000 visits. The Center hosts an average of 30 groups per month for social, support and organizing meetings. And we produce Denver PrideFest, the 6th largest Pride celebration in the nation, attended by more than 300,000 guests.
The Center embarked on an ambitious, forward-looking, three-year $3.5 million capital campaign in 2009 and has raised nearly $3 million so far. The result is our beautiful, state-of-the-art facility in the heart of Capitol Hill that opened in July 2010. The new building at 1301 E Colfax doubled our capacity and we've already experienced a sharp increase in visitors and groups interested in meeting here. We are quickly becoming the epicenter of Colorado's LGBT community.

Annual Giving
Philanthropy Council
Donors over $300 annually are members of The Center’s Philanthropy Council. Gifts can be pledged monthly. In addition to knowing that their investment supports the programming of The Center, we thank our Philanthropy Council donors in the following ways:
• Members are invited to attend the VIP section at Denver PrideFest and receive two complimentary tickets for the VIP experience
• Philanthropy Council donors are listed in our annual report
• Each month members will receive an exclusive donor newsletter with a message from Carlos Martinez, our Executive Director and program highlights of Center successes
Platinum Circle
We also honor donors who give over $2,500 annually as members of The Center’s Platinum Circle. These are truly lead gifts for The Center and represent a major portion of our annual giving campaign. We thank our Platinum Circle donors in the following ways:
• Members are offered 4 passes to enjoy the VIP Experience at Denver PrideFest
• Platinum Circle members also receive an exclusive monthly email from Carlos with Center updates
• Platinum Circle donors are listed in our annual report
• An invitation for two to a private VIP thank-you event hosted by The Center
$27.77 Campaign
The capital campaign provides opportunities for donors of all financial backgrounds to contribute. The new $27.77 program seeks 150 investors who can donate $27.77 per month for three years -- or $1,000 -- to the Something For Everyone campaign.All donors of $1,000 or more will receive name recognition on a donor wall. Many other naming opportunities exist, from the rooftop patio to Rainbow Alley.
Alyssa Kopf, who recently pledged to the $27.77 program, said: "I think it's great The Center created the $27.77 campaign so everyone has the opportunity to be involved. It's a community cetner and it should be built by the entire community, not just the wealthiest few."

You can make a difference!
